Retail Store Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. As a key member of our retail team, you will engage with customers, promote products, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting products.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking and inventory counts.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store cleanliness.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus.
• Supervising experience is advantageous for potential leadership roles.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial but not required.
