Custodian – Prep High School (Entry Level)

We offer competitive pay ranging from $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

The preferred schedule is a swing shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with flexibility available.

Utah Prep Academy is a growing college-preparatory high school located in Hurricane, Utah, with a strong emphasis on academics, athletics, and character development. As our campus continues to expand, we are seeking a dependable and motivated Custodian to join our facilities team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

This is a part-time position (approximately 30 hours per week) working under the direction of the Maintenance Director/Manager, with the possibility of moving into a full-time role based on exemplary work performance. Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision plans per eligibility timelines. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to learn, grow, and build long-term skills in facilities and maintenance.

Responsibilities include emptying trash throughout the day; cleaning and stocking restrooms; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; cleaning classrooms and hallways; picking up trash and assisting with outdoor area upkeep; and performing other related duties as assigned. Training is provided, with room to advance within the facilities and maintenance department.
