Job Overview: The SQL Database Developer is primarily responsible for assisting with the data engineering of the enterprise analytics infrastructure and master data assets, across structured and unstructured data sources. You will play a crucial role in the data management department, leveraging data tools and technologies to harness data and drive business insights and support strategic decision-making within the enterprise. Responsibilities: Assist in the data engineering efforts for the enterprise data to provide a sound data infrastructure supporting the business strategy and goals. Architect, implement, and maintain modern data pipeline structures on cloud data warehousing solutions for healthcare data assets including eligibility, claims, provider, pharmacy, benefit, network, drug information, and clinical data. Collaborate and establish partnerships with PBM, clinical, product, and business operation stakeholders to support data analytics needs and identify high-impact use cases. Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increase data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data, including data profiling, ingestion, preprocessing, cleansing, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Monitor processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it. Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues. Design, build, and own scalable data processing structures, frameworks, standards, and data management best practices to ensure the consistency and productivity of our data infrastructure. Leverage the PBM and healthcare domain knowledge and translate complex business requirements into data solutions. Communicate complex data findings and analysis effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Establish and maintain a culture that emphasizes two-way feedback, continuous quality improvement, and individual and team development Collaboratively work with functional leadership, and business users across the organization to develop data products, identify and track key milestones, and implement solutions to enable data-drive culture Coordinate with data governance and data architects to create maintainable and scalable solutions Other duties as assigned Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, and SQL Development. Understanding and experience of modern data governance, data management, and data system architecture best practices. Experience of building data analytics framework from the ground up is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills to nurture an open and transparent culture and promote trust and empowerment. Experienced keen learner about emerging data analytical approaches, skills, and technologies. 3+ years of Snowflake experience 2+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
