General Maintenance

Fabuwood is seeking an experienced General Maintenance with High Voltage electrical experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-voltage electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. This role ensures safe and reliable power distribution to support all manufacturing operations.

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm & Friday 7:30am-12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and distribution panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all high-voltage components to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Work with engineering and maintenance teams to support production needs and electrical upgrades.
• Safely isolate, de-energize, and re-energize high-voltage systems following strict lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• Document work performed, maintenance logs, and equipment conditions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards.
• Assist with low-voltage electrical work as needed within the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with high-voltage electrical systems (1kV and above).
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with electrical testing tools.
• Must understand and follow high-voltage safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
