Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in project management methodologies, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring project delivery aligns with organizational goals. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, managing risks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using methodologies such as PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing scope management, schedule development using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives clearly.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies utilizing risk management frameworks.
  • Oversee project budgets and control costs through effective financial planning and Earned Value Management techniques.
  • Manage project teams by providing leadership, supervision, and conflict resolution to ensure high performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners through vendor management practices to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Utilize project management software such as Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, Confluence, and ServiceNow for task tracking and documentation.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles like Kaizen and root cause analysis to enhance efficiency.
  • Facilitate meetings effectively to ensure clear communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress through data analysis skills and progress reporting tools; adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards including contracts management and IT infrastructure integration.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing program development strategies aligned with business process modeling and product lifecycle management.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies including PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, Lean Six Sigma.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing multiple projects within a program portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and presentation delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, Confluence, Workday.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management techniques including root cause analysis and earned value management.
  • Ability to perform requirements analysis, scope management, process mapping, data collection & analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiations, IT infrastructure coordination, and content or document management systems like SharePoint or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Technical writing capabilities for creating comprehensive reports and documentation related to project engineering or product development initiatives. Pay: $55, $80,000.00 per year
