The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor oversees overnight front desk operations, supports the Night Audit team, and ensures accurate financial processing and exceptional guest service during overnight hours. This role works closely with Front Office leadership to support training, compliance with best practices, and effective resolution of guest concerns. The Night Audit Supervisor also serves as a key point of contact during overnight operations, including emergency response coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support Front Office leadership by coordinating nightly operations and identifying training needs
  • Assist with screening, onboarding, and training of Night Audit team members
  • Ensure adherence to established front desk and night audit procedures and best practices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest concerns during the overnight shift and communicate issues to management as needed
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding resort services, amenities, dining, activities, and local attractions
  • Explain guest folios and resolve billing-related questions accurately and professionally
  • Coordinate with emergency personnel and internal teams during overnight incidents as needed
  • Maintain inventory and ordering of front desk supplies, including key cards, office supplies, and guest amenities
  • Assist guests with airport transportation and shuttle scheduling
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism, composure, and service excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Prior front desk or night audit experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and willingness to support training and development of team members
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to explain billing, folios, and financial transactions clearly and accurately
  • Proficiency with or ability to learn hotel systems, including Opera Cloud, Canary, Salto, and related programs
  • Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage as needed
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
  • Able to remain focused in an office environment for extended periods of time
  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
