Delivery Driver

FlashEx is an independent contractor for FedEx Ground, operating out of the Lake Orion, MI terminal. We are seeking high-energy, reliable, and safety-focused drivers to join our growing team. Position Overview

As a FlashEx FedEx Ground Driver, you will:

• Report to the Lake Orion FedEx Ground Terminal daily.
• Load packages into your company-provided vehicle.
• Safely and efficiently deliver/pick up packages across your assigned route.
• Return the vehicle and equipment at the end of your shift.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a FedEx delivery truck at all times.
• Ensure on-time delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections of your vehicle.
• Accurately scan packages at pick-up and delivery points.
• Provide superior customer service at every stop.
• Maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward customers and the public.

Requirements (Must Meet All to Qualify)

• 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years (commercial or work-related; does not need to be full-time).
• Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License.
• Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major moving violations within the last 3 years).
• Clean criminal background (no major misdemeanors or felonies within the last 10 years).
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screen.
• Strong communication skills (conversational English required).
• Punctual, reliable, energetic, and honest work ethic.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Schedule

• 8-10-hour shifts (varies by route volume).
• Daytime shifts.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• Overtime opportunities available.

Compensation & Benefits

• $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience, performance, and route assignment).
