Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing equipment while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a professional attitude when working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or technical issues
• Repair, service, and maintain equipment according to company standards
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Install new equipment or systems as needed
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, and parts used
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar role preferred
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, or work orders
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift (50) lbs and perform physical work as required
• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass back ground check

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification or trade school training
• Experience in (HVAC / appliances / industrial equipment / automotive / other)
• Basic computer or mobile app skills for service reporting

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
