POSITION SUMMARY
The Crisis Services Supervisor will supervise the Mobile Crisis Team and the Crisis Care Center Team in coordination with the Program Manager of Crisis Services. The Crisis Services Supervisor will provide reflective supervision, practical support, training, and quality improvement activities to improve outcomes. The Crisis Services Supervisor will provide crisis assessment. This will include making recommendations to the client and their crisis team regarding crisis planning and discharge planning. This may include therapeutic follow-up services until transitioned to an appropriate level of care. These services will be offered in the most appropriate setting including school, home, community, and clinic. The Crisis Services Supervisor will recruit, hire, train, and retain staff. They will ensure shifts have adequate coverage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of crisis services staff, including on-call therapists, Crisis Care Center staff, and Mobile Crisis Team members.
- Ensure coverage of crisis services for their shift.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure timely, safe, and clinically appropriate crisis response.
- Serve as a resource during high-risk situations, including suicidality, aggression, and complex cases.
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with agency, state, CARF, and CCBHC requirements.
- Support staff through coaching, feedback, and performance management, including onboarding and training of new staff.
- Collaborate with internal and external providers and natural supports to ensure coordinated crisis response.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data tracking, and reporting related to crisis services outcomes.
- Assist with development and implementation of workflows to reduce backlogs and improve efficiency.
- Support staff wellness, debriefing, and burnout prevention following critical incidents.
- Participate in community collaboration efforts, including coordination with hospitals, law enforcement, and emergency services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- A bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, or other human service field required. A master's degree is preferred. Must have two years of experience with mental illness or behavioral health.
