Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service skills. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Knowledge of POS systems like Square is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using various POS systems such as Square
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service policies
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods with effective time management
• Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending environments preferred
• Proficiency with Square POS system
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing tabs accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to acquire a bar card
