Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented bilingual individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Office Assistant. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career in the legal field. Legal experience is a plus. We provide on-the-job training with opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the efficient functioning of our law firm by assisting paralegals with various administrative tasks, including running errands, filing documents, completing tasks, and computer work. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a professional legal environment.

Duties:

  • Assist paralegals with legal work such as drafting, compiling packets, and calling clients
  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Run errands as required, including trips to the courthouse, client meetings, and other local destinations (a car and valid driver's license are essential).
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and calendars
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis
  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is nonnegotiable
  • Professional and punctual demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Legal experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour
