Preferred Caregiver

Duties

• Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Read and follow care plans as directed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper food handling and cleanliness standards are maintained
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, observations, and medication administration in compliance with healthcare regulations

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice support techniques
• Experience with patient observation and documentation
• Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required;
• Hands-on experience with patient
