The Role

We are seeking a Sous Chef who thrives in high-energy kitchens and understands the balance between speed, consistency, and culinary excellence. This role requires equal parts culinary craftsmanship, leadership, and operational discipline.

You'll lead a team of passionate cooks, collaborate with ownership on menu direction, and drive the kitchen to achieve both financial and guest satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: prep, service, sanitation, scheduling, and ordering.
• Maintain impeccable standards of consistency, flavor, and presentation across lunch and dinner.
• Build a positive kitchen culture: train, mentor, and develop line cooks.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and HACCP standards.
• Represent the kitchen as a leader during service, guest interactions, and events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Strong command of seafood cookery and Mediterranean flavor profiles.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-output kitchen.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Hands-on leadership style — leads by example on the line.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
