Truck Driver

Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role requires a valid commercial driver's license and experience operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles. Candidates with experience in route driving, load & unload procedures, and operating equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks are highly preferred. Duties

• Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency.
• Deliver freight accurately to designated locations across assigned routes.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with forklift operation when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight transportation.
• Familiarity with driving tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is preferred.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and load & unload procedures.
• Ability to handle freight securely and efficiently in various conditions.
