  • Monitor and document vital signs accurately using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed under supervision, ensuring proper documentation of medication administration.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care or phlebotomy when trained and authorized.

  • Ensure accurate medical documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital or facility policies.

Experience
Candidates should demonstrate experience or familiarity with a variety of healthcare settings including hospice care, ICU, emergency medicine, medical-surgical units, pediatrics, behavioral health, or post-acute care environments. Prior experience working with vulnerable populations such as seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities-related needs is highly valued. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks is preferred. Additional desirable skills include proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology knowledge, basic life support certification, and experience with specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or DME devices. Candidates with background in infectious disease care, trauma centers (Level I/II), or teaching hospital settings will bring added expertise to our team. Join us if you are committed to delivering compassionate patient service in a hospice setting while utilizing your clinical skills across diverse healthcare environments.
