Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This position requires strong leadership skills, understanding of culinary techniques, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working with others or alone. The position includes food preparation and running food while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily kitchen operations and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Understand food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and proper use of kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak dining hours.
  • Help create an environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among kitchen staff.

Experience

  • Proven experience in culinary roles, preferably as a Line Cook or similar position within a restaurant or banquet setting preferred but not required.
  • Experience in fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Familiarity with food preparation methods and safety standards relevant to the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work alone or with others is a requirement.

Job Type: Part-time
