THE JOB:

Bring your artistry, precision, and passion for baking to the Pastry Shop team as our Head Baker . In this role, you will take the lead in crafting world-class pastries, breads, and desserts that elevate every dining experience. From banquet presentations to daily offerings, your creativity and technical expertise will help define our bakery's exceptional standards. You will work hands-on across all bakery stations while guiding and inspiring fellow team members to ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in every batch.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.61 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain the highest baking standards, ensuring consistency and precision in all products
• Operate bakery stations independently, following recipes and production schedules with minimal supervision
• Expedite and prepare baked goods for banquets, restaurants, and special events
• Take daily inventory and coordinate with the Executive and Pastry Chefs on production needs and ingredient orders
• Serve as a mentor and resource for bakers and bakery helpers, assisting with training and development
• Support the overall operation by stepping into any bakery station as needed to maintain workflow and quality
• Uphold cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards across all work areas
• Collaborate with leadership to innovate new pastry and bakery items that align with property standards

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Demonstrates 1+ years of prior relevant experience in Pastry
• Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Leads by example and fosters teamwork, collaboration, and consistency
