iOS Native Developer – Mission Mobile App Sustainment

Job Summary

Heads In The Cloud (HITC) is seeking an iOS Native Developer to support sustainment and continued enhancement of a secure Apple-native mission application. This contingency-based federal role activates upon task order award.

You will help ensure secure mobile delivery, reliability, performance, and compatibility across iOS devices and OS versions, supporting critical operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain native iOS features in Swift (Objective-C as needed).
• Troubleshoot production defects, crash logs, and performance issues, implementing durable fixes.
• Build secure mobile experiences: secure storage, authentication flows, API communication patterns.
• Maintain build/release pipelines and manage App Store or enterprise distribution workflows.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding and mobile security best practices.
• Support test automation, QA validation, and release readiness documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years native iOS development (Swift) in production environments.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, mobile security patterns, and performance profiling tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated, high-security, or federal environments.
• Background integrating with identity providers, certificate-based auth, or MDM solutions.
• Strong documentation and sustainment-oriented support discipline.
