About Us

We operate three growing companies: a specialty roofing contractor, a metal roofing manufacturing company, and a commercial property business. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead financial management across all three entities. This position is hands-on and high-impact, with increasing authority and leadership opportunity as the companies continue to scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for each company
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems
• Oversee job costing, margin analysis, and financial accuracy for contracting and manufacturing operations
• Manage inventory accounting, valuation, and variance tracking
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable; improve billing and collections
• Build and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts
• Manage banking relationships, debt schedules, and financing needs
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Prepare tax documentation and support CPA coordination
• Provide reporting for leadership, EOS Scorecards, and strategic planning

Qualifications

• CPA strongly preferred
• 5–12 years of experience in a Controller or Senior Accountant role
• Experience in manufacturing with inventory required
• Experience in growing companies (not corporate environments)
• Strong understanding of job costing (construction or manufacturing)
• Proficiency with Excel and financial modeling
• Strong communication skills and high integrity

Compensation

• Competitive salary ($100,000 – $140,000, depending on experience)
