Evening Custodian

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be able to pass a background check as this will be at a school.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
• Conduct janitorial duties in classrooms, offices, and hallways, ensuring all spaces are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with environmental standards.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
