Our growing company in Boise, Idaho, is looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dedicated team. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking goods, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment, ensuring aisles are clear and organized.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Support other warehouse staff and operations as required.
- This role involves significant manual labor, including repetitive lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing for long durations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and logistics principles is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to work.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately.
- A dedication to ensuring a safe and productive work area is required.
