You will be responsible for a range of tasks, from verifying orders to coordinating with carriers, all while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verify contents, and update inventory records.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling.
- Generate and manage shipping documents, including waybills and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain communication with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Ensure the shipping area is well-organized and clutter-free.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to optimizing shipping processes and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping clerk role or similar logistics position is required. Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Must possess excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. Proficiency in basic computer applications and shipping software is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational standards. Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a comprehensive background check.
