We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on the safe and efficient movement of goods. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Move, stack, load, and unload materials and products.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper placement and handling of goods.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow instructions from supervisors to meet production and delivery goals.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Support team members in various warehouse tasks as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training for safety and operational efficiency in logistics.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating forklifts is required; certification preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to material handling and forklift operation. Good communication skills and ability to follow directions. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Experience in a logistics or distribution environment is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
