Our Washington, D.C. facility is looking for an organized and meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic Logistics team. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, inspecting incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying quantities against invoices, and accurately documenting all received items into our inventory system. You will also be responsible for moving received goods to designated storage areas, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks. A strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records are essential. This position involves moderate physical activity, including some Lifting of up to 40 pounds. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized receiving area is a top priority, and strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory. We are looking for a reliable individual who can work efficiently under pressure and contribute positively to our warehouse operations.
