Our dynamic logistics company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our busy warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our receiving processes. Your primary responsibility will be to unload trucks, verify incoming inventory against purchase orders, and properly document all received goods. This is a crucial role that directly impacts our inventory accuracy and overall warehouse operations. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, possess strong organizational skills, and understand the importance of meticulous record-keeping within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other warehouse staff. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming merchandise for damage and reporting any discrepancies. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are paramount to success in this position.
