We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Jacksonville, Florida location. This position is central to our order fulfillment process, requiring individuals who can accurately and efficiently pick items from inventory and prepare them for shipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are processed correctly and on time, contributing significantly to our logistics operations. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Receive and process incoming inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations.
- Commitment to Safety standards.
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with general logistics is a plus.
