Our Huntsville, Alabama location is searching for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage our warehouse operations. This position requires a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to oversee daily activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all warehouse functions, fostering a productive team environment, and achieving operational goals within the logistics framework.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage and train warehouse staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and control.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely shipments.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills.
