Our distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our expanding operations. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics network, ensuring that products are processed, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. We are looking for individuals who are committed to safety, possess a strong work ethic, and are eager to contribute to a productive team environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the distribution center.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and workstations.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
