Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer at our busy distribution center in sunny Miami, Florida! We are looking for enthusiastic and efficient individuals to join our operations team. This role is fundamental to our commitment to rapid order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. Your speed and precision are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and in excellent condition. We maintain a strong emphasis on Safety and provide a supportive environment for all employees. This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in the e-commerce logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Follow all company Safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
- Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the task.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Capable of performing moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Basic knowledge of Logistics processes is beneficial.
