Are you detail-oriented and seeking a challenging role? Our St. Louis, Missouri location is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. This critical position ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, playing a vital part in the efficiency of our entire supply chain. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and maximize accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) as applicable.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate stock movements.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing physical inventory checks or moving stock.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy and adherence to Safety standards.
Shift: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed for inventory projects. This is a full-time role with competitive salary and benefits. Contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations!
