Our growing logistics operation in Sacramento, California, is looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support our daily functions. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse. Key duties include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and packing orders, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. This role is perfect for someone who is physically active, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified and trained).
- Meet performance standards for productivity and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
