We are looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, supporting efficient logistics and operations. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and implementing measures to maintain optimal stock levels. Your analytical skills will be key in identifying issues and recommending solutions to improve inventory accuracy. Collaboration with other departments is vital to achieve operational goals. We maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, and all team members are required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines. This position involves periods of standing and walking, and occasional lifting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and identify root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the WMS.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory accuracy improvement.
- Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and expiration dates where applicable.
- Support audit processes and provide inventory reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of PPE.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams on inventory-related matters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degree a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, including PPE.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Capability for some lifting.
