We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse facility in Austin, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in managing inventory, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout our logistics hub. Your commitment to safety and operational efficiency will be key to your success. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a dedication to maintaining a secure work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Assist with order picking and packing when necessary.
- Handle goods with care to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
- Be prepared for tasks involving significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety standards and forklift operation.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory labels.
- Physical capability for required Lifting and material handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience in logistics operations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
