We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This dynamic role is responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and conduct inspections on various machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated storage systems. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, combined with a commitment to safety protocols, is crucial for success in this position. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor belts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the warehouse environment.
- Ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergencies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to identify and address potential operational improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role within a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and a thorough understanding of PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
