Join our team in Miami, Florida, as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are seeking a certified and experienced individual to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods, and maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient logistics flow.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual Lifting.
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable and punctual.
