Join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit, Michigan, as an Order Picker! We're looking for a dedicated individual to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach. You'll be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specified items, and preparing them for shipment. A strong commitment to Safety and teamwork is essential for success in this position. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or electronic devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Package items securely and label them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order documents.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Awareness of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
