Job Summary:
Become a key player in our warehouse operations as an Inventory Control Specialist in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities:
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize loss and errors.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage the put-away process to ensure items are stored correctly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field. Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting. Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory best practices. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining a safe and secure inventory environment.
