We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Provo, Utah. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and gathering products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a strong commitment to quality control. You will work closely with inventory systems and contribute directly to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations using order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Package picked items for shipment, ensuring they are secure and protected.
- Update inventory records and order status in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to meet daily picking targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse or picking role is beneficial. Ability to lift and maneuver products weighing up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with WMS is a plus. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines is essential. Understanding of basic warehouse logistics is helpful. Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
