We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. This position is crucial for optimizing warehouse space and ensuring the efficient flow of inventory within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating reach trucks and a strong commitment to safety. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive environment. We provide a safe and supportive work atmosphere and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety standards, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant forklift operation and requires precision and control. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent damage and ensure accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve products.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Accurately record inventory movements and locations.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock placement.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and best practices, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience operating a reach truck is required. Valid forklift operator certification preferred. Ability to perform lifting and material handling tasks as needed. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols. Excellent spatial awareness and precision. Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times. Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic logistics environment.
