We are seeking a highly efficient Order Picker to join our advanced distribution center in San Jose, California. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role requires precision, speed, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You will utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to locate products, confirm quantities, and track inventory movements. We emphasize a safe working environment, requiring all team members to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere strictly to safety protocols. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable of standing, walking, and performing frequent lifting, and works well within a team-oriented structure. - Accurately pick products based on order tickets and RF scanner prompts.
- Locate items in the warehouse, ensuring the correct product and quantity are selected.
- Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and effectively.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver picked items to the packing or shipping station as required.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in all tasks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- The position requires regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our overall logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
