We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming shipments. Your duties will include physically unloading deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders and invoices, inspecting goods for damage, and promptly updating inventory records. This position requires a meticulous approach to ensure that all incoming merchandise is accounted for and accurately entered into our system. You will play a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our inventory and supporting the smooth flow of our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight and deliveries.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices.
- Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Enter received goods into the warehouse management system (WMS) with accuracy.
- Tag and stock received items in their designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Perform Lifting of up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with inventory management and WMS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and Lifting moderate to heavy items.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of Logistics processes is beneficial.
