Client is seeking a Software Architect Consultant to assist in upgrading the Cadet Accountability System (CAS). Responsibilities Assess the technical feasibility, architecture, scalability, and security of CAS. Align CAS with cadet workflows, supporting Commandant, Academic, and Athletic departments. Review integration with systems like Banner, Canvas, and health systems. Analyze user experience, adoption, and training needs. Evaluate cost of ownership (TCO) and ROI compared to alternative systems. Review and provide recommendations on codebase modernization/replacement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings. Prioritize tasks based on organizational goals. Plan and communicate work activities effectively.
Required Skills
3+ years experience with C# 3+ years experience with Microsoft SQL 3+ years in gathering and documenting project requirements
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, Material UI) Experience with code analysis and modernization planning (3+ years) Knowledge of 3rd-party integrations (REST APIs, SQL extracts)
