As a QA Automation Lead, you will make an impact by developing robust automation frameworks and enabling high quality product delivery across enterprise systems. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team, collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and cross functional stakeholders to strengthen our automation strategy. In this role, you will: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript. Write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and build scalable automation solutions. Design, enhance, and implement automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Analyze and troubleshoot automation test failures, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions. Work model: Remote We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. What you need to have to be considered: 810 years of experience in a test automation development role using Playwright and TypeScript. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment. These will help you stand out: Demonstrated ability to optimize automation frameworks for reliability and performance. Experience troubleshooting complex test automation issues across distributed systems. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non technical teams. Prior experience contributing to code reviews or improving testability within development teams. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 02/15/2026. The annual salary for this position is between [$71,100/- to $112,500/-] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
