Summary: Meta is looking for a passionate and experienced Manager of Software Engineering to enhance our team. In this leadership role, you will empower a group of talented engineers to create impactful products that serve billions of users worldwide. Successful candidates will exhibit extensive technical experience and a proven track record in management. Responsibilities: Lead and inspire a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and products.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to fuel technical innovation.
Develop and execute technical strategies aligned with business goals.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, growth, and improvement within the team.
Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of experience, or a PhD with 4 years of software engineering experience, including direct technical management.
Proven experience in recruiting, structuring, and managing technical teams, as well as performance management.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing software engineers.
At least 2 years of experience managing a diverse team of engineers.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on technical management experience in building large-scale systems, algorithms, and tools within the Machine Learning domain.
Public Compensation: $184,000/year to $257,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Industry:
