Description Join the GEOAxIS team as a DevOps Specialist, where you will play a vital role in enhancing our technical execution, driving innovation, and modernizing our systems. The GEOAxIS system is pivotal for Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) across various web applications. Our mission is to ensure highly available ICAM services that protect crucial mission applications across all security domains. With the GxNext contract awarded to Leidos in 2021, we are committed to excellence until 2031. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve system and operational incidents efficiently. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for operational incidents. Analyze system performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Assist Tier 2 support teams in resolving complex system and end-user issues. Coordinate with mission partners, consumer applications, and external entities to troubleshoot enterprise incidents. Collect and analyze operational incident data, identifying trends and offering solutions to common problems. Collaborate closely with the Ops Tech Lead and Development Lead to pinpoint enhancements for improved operational stability. Work with deployment and ISP teams to facilitate baseline deployments to operations. Be available for off-hour troubleshooting support during high-priority operational incidents. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience. Eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a Polygraph post-hire. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Quick adaptability to new software and IT systems. Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. Proactive self-starter with the ability to both work collaboratively and independently. In-depth familiarity with COTS products used in the program, including the Oracle Identity and Access Management suite, Apache webgates, and Computer Associates (CA) API Gateway. Proficiency in scripting within a Linux environment, specifically using Shell and Bash. Extensive experience in COTS integration and custom code development. Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: Bash, Python, Java, NodeJS. Local to the DMV area, with the ability to be present in Chantilly at least four days a week for team collaboration and occasional meetings in Reston or Springfield, VA. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of leading technical teams and articulating technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for this position. *Security+ certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Kubernetes using Rancher RKE2 or OpenShift. Strong understanding of containerization technologies. Experience in containerizing custom software applications. Familiarity with common DevOps tools such as Ansible, ArgoCD, Gitlab, Nexus3, and Kubernetes. Certifications in any of the following: RHCSA/RHCE, AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD. Knowledge of modern authentication methods, including SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC. Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, with a willingness to obtain a polygraph within the customer's specified timeline after hiring. Selected applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is essential for this role.
