Roc Builders is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will both support senior Project Managers and lead your own projects from planning through completion, with guidance and oversight from senior leadership.
Responsibilities include:
· Act as interface between client, design teams, and fabrication teams
· Translate client intent into clear design objectives, timelines, technical requirements, and execution constraints.
· Evaluate design feasibility against cost, schedule, and production realities
· Define and manage project scope including deliverables, elements, specifications, and responsibilities,
· Build and maintain project timelines, milestones, and critical deadlines, by communicating clearly with the rest of the fabrication team through documents that are periodically updated.
· Interface with clients and fabrication team to help develop estimates informed by material costs, fabrication methods, labor, and logistics.
· Identify missing information, risks, and unresolved questions early and drive decisions and solutions
· Produce and review technical drawings for fabrication including CNC, laser, wood and metal shops.
· Make sure drawings are accurate, build ready, and aligned with machine and shop floor requirements
· Coordinate handoff between design, fabrication, and on-site teams
· Oversee execution quality from fabrication through installation, ensuring alignment between design, technical drawings, and final build.
· Maintain documentation and communication clarity to prevent scope creep and production bottlenecks
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Proficiency in CAD software (Mac or PC)
* Hands-on fabrication experience, with a strong understanding of how things are built, the tools and processes involved, and realistic build timelines
* Familiarity with a wide range of fabrication materials and a basic understanding of their costs
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
* Ability to problem-solve creatively and think on your feet in fast-paced or high-pressure environments
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed based on project timelines and project schedules
* Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
