As our in-house Salesforce expert, you will design and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that strengthen the College’s ability to support clinicians, uphold gold standard guidance, and drive innovation across radiology and oncology. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to translate real-world clinical and educational needs into robust technical outcomes, ensuring our systems are modern, secure, and continuously improving. By enhancing the platforms that help doctors learn, connect, and provide the highest standards of care, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful, system-wide impact on the RCR’s vision to be a global leader in supporting doctors to improve patient outcomes throughout their careers. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience as a Salesforce Developer within a complex environment, demonstrating a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. Essential qualifications include hands-on expertise across Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning components, and APIs. A Salesforce Developer certification or equivalent experience is required, reflecting your professional competence in the platform. Experience working within agile or product-led delivery frameworks, along with CRM release management, is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and stakeholder management experience are vital to succeed in this role. Additionally, a proactive attitude, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential qualities. Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with experience in integrations, third-party applications, or working within not-for-profit organizations. Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce development initiatives by building scalable Flows, Apex classes, Lightning components, and integrations to enhance system functionality. Drive continuous improvement through automation, system optimisation, and innovative technical solutions. Translate complex business needs into smart, robust, and scalable technical solutions that align with organisational goals. Support the product roadmap by contributing to planning, testing, and deployment of new features and releases. Champion data quality, security, and governance to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information across platforms. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, making complex technical concepts accessible to non-technical colleagues to facilitate understanding and adoption. Benefits
