As our Applications Engineer, you will be part of a knowledgeable and well?diverse engineering team who loves to have fun and get stuff done! You will provide cost?effective bulk cable and cable assembly as well as custom interconnect design solutions based on direct customer interaction and knowledge of the application for their assigned customer base and market segment. The application engineer will work together with the Sales Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Quality, Production, and Process Engineering in support of our customers needs. The application engineer may also be tasked with developing new and innovative products based on customer input, market trends, and company strategy. Qualifications & Requirements Industry?related experience 3+ years of engineering in a manufacturing environment, bulk cable and/or cable assembly preferred Bachelor of Science engineering degree Electrical, Industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, material science from an accredited college or university achieving a 3.0+ GPA preferred Excellent knowledge of bulk cable and cable assembly design, materials, components, processes, and electrical/mechanical testing and regulatory approvals; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, AutoCAD, Access database navigation, and Internet; excellent written/verbal communication skills Lean manufacturing Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a plus A thorough understanding of Regulatory requirements and their impact on process requirements is a must. (UL, CSA, NEC, cUL, IEC, CE, RoHS, ISO 9001)

Accountable for technical customer support, satisfaction, and communicationincluding travel as necessaryto ensure customer needs are met with professionalism and technical expertise. You will support long?term organic growth by contributing to the sales process and strategy with a focus on profitability through accurate and timely quotes, on?time delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction. You are also accountable for supporting New Business Opportunity (NBO) adds, bookings, and wins. Additionally, you will champion the Winchester culture while helping to build a strong, collaborative, and high?performing organization. Collaborate with teams across Winchester and the Sales Team in a way that leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions. You will actively participate on behalf of the Sales team both internally and externally on NPI projects, quoting, engineering requirements, RMAs, CARs, production, and general customer servicewith a focus on new business opportunities while supporting existing customers when needed. Your positive, engaged, and infectious attitude will foster strong working relationships and align with Winchesters culture. Empowered to support the sales strategy for short? and long?term organic growth with measurable KPIs and results that align with the budgeted bookings, revenue, and EBITDA goals. Strengthen and build relationships with key customers and the Sales Team through both travel and virtual engagement. Collaborate frequently with other departments to ensure accurate and timely quotes, customer satisfaction, on?time delivery, and clear communication. Identify and develop target customers with profitable opportunities aligned with our core technologies for sustainable growth. Provide technical training and support to the Sales Team and customers to reinforce the right behaviors, utilizing available tools as needed. Communicate with internal teams at a cadence that ensures expectations and performance are understood and tracked. Determine the best use of your time across travel, customer service, calls, communication, and reporting to effectively support sales while meeting KPIs. Provide valuable industry and market feedback to the team to inform product direction, capital investments, and future growth initiatives.

Pay Transparency
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is up to $90,000$108,000 annually (DOE) per year, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
