The Data Management & Analytics team at Lakeview focuses on delivering robust data management solutions to make data a strategic asset for the organization. The Data & Analytics Intern will work with members of the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics team as well as the business to develop data solutions utilizing standard industry tools, methodologies and emerging technologies such as AI.
This internship is an opportunity to gain experience with data analysis, learning all about its practices, challenges, and trends. The intern will gain valuable insights into how data is leveraged in business and provide a real-world perspective on how these skills add value and a positive impact in the business world.
Responsibilities
Lakeview is looking for interns that are proactive, innovative, learning agile and have a bias for action. This internship will be in our Enterprise Data Management organization. The Data Management & Analytics team supports all internal departments on data and data analytics projects and initiatives.
Creating ad-hoc reports and dashboards Identifying criteria for and the building of data models based on different business and financial scenarios. Creating reports and dashboards to assist the business in becoming more profitable and efficient. Working with other team members and management to build business analytics solutions. Assist in managing data projects. Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or a related field. Bachelors, Masters or MBA graduates or within a year of graduation, in any degree that has provided exposure and experience in the relevant business or technical skills, or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in an analytical or reporting environment is a plus. Some proficiency in MS Excel and PowerBI a plus. Knowledge of relational and multidimensional databases Understanding and ability in SQL Highly independent and organized in nature. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain focus. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
