Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspection of all incoming product to specifications and purchase order requirements.

2. Inspection of all incoming product certifications.

3. Weigh-up and process of all incoming product to specific customer orders.

4. Knowledge and experience with use of measuring tools, venier caliper, micrometer

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus one year experience as an order assembly inspector; or equivalent experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills required. Microsoft Windows, UPS Worldship Shipping System, Internet-based express and motor freight shipping systems.

Certificates and Licenses:

No special certifications or licenses required.
